Two weeks and counting!

Daisy continues to improve daily. She has the most amazing attitude. Her leg looks great! I need to post before and after pictures so you can see the difference. She is still hesitant to put weight on it from time to time. But, I imagine some of that is simply habit. Her right leg was the most painful and even before the surgery she would hop along on three legs sometimes. She is going for several very short walks a day now. We're getting very excited for her second surgery - it's only two weeks away! Please remember to keep Daisy in your thoughts and prayers :-)

She is looking very shiny and pretty! There are quite a few dog blogs with her button on them, too. I will mention her again on mine. Good to hear she is doing so well.

love & wags,
River

Hi Daisy
It is lovely to meet you and hear about how very brave you have been.
We have been visiting River on his blog and he told us all about you and the hard time you have had.
Please know that we are all thinking about you all the way over in Scotland.
Take care
love and kisses

Hi Daisy
I'm so happy that you are doing so good. I'm glad that you are able to go for short walks.
I know that crate rest is hard, especially for a young dog, but it will be worth it in the end.
I will keep you in my thoughts and have crossed paws for you.
Love Ruby

Hi Daisy, your friend River mentioned you on his blog and I wanted to come and offer my purrs and prayers.

Even tho I'm a cat, we furry babies need to stick together. I'm turning my purr and prayer dial on extra high that you're leg starts to feel better right now and your second surgery heals fast. Then you'll be out playing just like a sweet puppy is supposed to!
